About Us

The Knauss Homestead Chapter, NSDAR, has a mission of serving the community, especially in the areas of Emmaus, Macungie, Alburtis, and Wescosville.  Among our projects are the historic preservation of the homestead, fostering education of the history of the Emmaus area, and assisting retired and disabled military veterans with their needs.

Our chapter was established in the Fall of 2023

This Pennsylvania Chapter, NSDAR, located in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, is established on the Knauss Homestead location which was the home of Patriot Heinrich Knauss. The Homestead was built in 1777.
